It's been awhile since we've seen anybody. It's lonely here without you.
Well, for me, I have been playing the wonderful world of Skyrim. Finally getting over this glitch-tastic game is forever broken in my saves. Dead dragons drop from the sky into towns, missions with dead animals with quest arrows over them and the civil wars quests with the quest giver mysteriously missing...underground. Decidedly nothing to do but whine and keep trudging forward. I get pissy when games I thoroughly enjoy break on me. GTA 4, Oblivion, Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim. I figured it was time to go all brute force after sneaking for the majority of 50 levels. I hold up particularly well surprisingly; after neglecting that side of my character for so long. Trying to grind up my alchemy and enchanting to make that god armor for Yuvon Dovah. Then just walk around with Mehrune's Razor and poke things.
In other news. Got my wife hooked on watching Arrow and she can't get enough of it insomuch as getting Hulu plus to keep up with new episodes. The rest of the season of Grimm, and then it's on to Justified season 3, hopefully Breaking Bad final season and maybe find something new.
Took the family to Frozen, that was a good Disney flick as always and my daughter can't get enough of the soundtrack. It will be interesting to see how the next film from Disney Animation performs, being that it will be a PG installment of a Marvel Comic series, Big Hero 6.

I too have been playing Skyrim in my spare time - I started a second character, and I recently made my 1000th save, in addition to logging my 200th hour dedicated to the game. I'm going to try and get on Ghosts more often this semester, but with Thief and Titanfall coming out soon, I can't make any promises.
ReplyDeleteOther than that, I've been trudging through the work for my Master's degree, nursing a partially torn tendon that has prevented me from rock climbing ( :( ) and listening to shit tons of metal (Aether Realm, Wilderun, and Eths are my favorite discoveries of 2013).
Oh yeah, and I got the Xbox One. It's pretty friggin' sweet.
