We killed that F*ckin' crab thing!

Just wanted to shout it from the mountain that Ranvier and I have defeated the f*ckin crab thing. Crawermax to be exact. We have been trudging though the Borderlands GOTY DLC and finally defeated the "Secret Final Boss" as they advertise it in the game.

Oh, we've seen that you need to hide in the corner, glitching the landscape and glitching Crawermax to kill him. Ohhh, we tried it, but to no avail, we fail. There is a giant cliff that he smacks you off of and its insta-death for you. Then you have to run your happy ass back up to him, but the kicker is you lose all damage that you inflicted before you died. MotherF*ckers.

So we tried something a little different. I play as Brick, a giant hulk of a man that with the right skill tree can Tank. Basically I can take damage like 4 inch steel. Ranvier plays as Mordecai, a feeble individual as far as health is concerned but can shoot holes into anything. I ran around the cliff creating a distraction, taking damage, getting back up and trying to put as put damage into the crab as I could while fighting off his minions. Ranvier, meanwhile hide in the shadows taking shots at him. It worked!

All in all, ten to twelve hours of cumulative game time, we figured it out and killed the Motherf*cker.
