The Essence of Eminence: Now With More Poetry!

Hello all! This is going to be the start of our new segment entitled, The Essence of Eminence.  For the non scholars out there it is basically the important shit that you should know in the coming days, weeks, months.

Firstly, as many of you know Homefront comes out tomorrow.  As far as I know Regen, Rage and I have preordered it and Psia might be picking it up as well(so you know the important people, minus karma).  So maybe if you have a little free time you should go get it.  Im sure there will be a review posted by one or more of us on this game eventually.

For those of you that missed last week’s podcast Regen and I discussed the lasting impact of video games and if that will impact people’s ability to communicate effectively in face to face interactions.  Just kidding.  Regen read some of his “excellent” fan fiction while I took a nap.

I wrote a short poem to celebrate the release of a new game that we are all interested in:  ahem.

All of Ops’ fun has been provided
It was not that long ago that we were divided.
For some of us it was love at first sight
While others just wanted to fight.
It’s not MW2 they screamed!
Exactly we beamed!

As time progressed we all could agree
What a great game this turned out to be
The story was one of the best
And the multiplayer seemed to pass the test.
But unfortunately some issues became worse and worse
Until more of us began to curse
For some of us great time was lost.
But the question remains at what cost?

We now look forward to something new
Which binds our brotherhood together like glue
Will this game turn out to be what we hoped for?
Or just another competitor to fall to the floor?
I’m hoping for the best.
Time will tell if Homefront beats the rest.

You are welcome.

How cool was it that this contained a poem?  Right? Right!  Feel free to add anything i may have missed.

Ok that’s all ive got for this episode.  Peace!
