Everybody is just, like, super busy and stuff. MIA are the rest of this so-called SWS group. We all busy. I am trying get stuff done around the house, Rage is working weekends!? Saint has got Guard. Ranvier gets back from some Parisian excursion. It is ironic how long we waited for Heists, only to not play them when they come out.
Well, thought I might write some thoughts, so when we do have the time we can play again. Here is what's on our plates and some things I am excited for...>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Well, there are still those Heists to get done, that we will complete, eventually. Neverwinter is fun for a grinder and for group play. There's always going back to play that Gears of War Judgement for 360 for some fun.
Just over a month away from the gamers' early Christmas wish list called E3. In June we get to see things to come. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for a Fallout 4 announcement. I also really want to see that The Division is releasing this year with a date. That will be a fun game for the group.
I really like to see more of Cuphead. The art style is what attracts me the most to this game. I love these old cartoon styles.
There's also the movie and the game that actually looks to be a decent nod to quality. Mad Max sandbox with building your own vision of Max's car. Post-Apoc for the win!
There's a trailer out for the next "F*ck! Look I can fly, and I got me some and cy-ber-gent-tics-en-hance-mences and stuff!" Ran and I had a short text conversation about the overuse of the new future CODs. BLOPS 3 is Advanced Warfare all over again, we knew it was going this way. Like Ranvier said it's amazing they are not building games that please the old school FPS crowd. Someday somebody will be like, "shooters' suck today, rockets coming out of my ass, robotic limbs, remember the 'old' COD games those were fun, remember World at War when you could blow off somebody's leg?! and you didn't have to be a super twitch gamer and the mechanics were solid, ahhh..., those were the days." Guess we have to rely on Infinity Ward to keep the series grounded, but their last game gives me little hope with a the robo attack-dog.
Here's to hoping there are some real show stoppers at E3; because as of right now there is nothing worth a damn on the Xbox One, that I couldn't have played on the 360.
